Customs Clearance Requirements
All consignees in the Canary Islands must be registered tax payers with the local authorities
When shipments are imported for commercial purposes, the sender's and consignee's VAT registration numbers are compulsory on the invoice.
When non-document shipments are intended for private individuals, their passport or identity card number must be indicated.
It is mandatory to provide one of the following Consignee ID Numbers on the invoice to allow customs clearance:

The Chinese government safety licence certification system means certain goods cannot be imported into China if the importer/consignee has not obtained the China Compulsory Certification (CCC) mark from the Chinese government agency, Certification and Accreditation Administration (CNCA).
Private individuals can receive these goods but additional charges may apply.

Customs Clearance Requirements
All shipments with a value over 100USD (approximately £60) requires the consignee in Syria to obtain an Import License from the Ministry of Economy and Foreign Trade. The Ministry will only issue an Import License who has a register business and registration number.
A Certificate of Origin may be requested by Syrian Customs

Goods of Chinese Origin: Goods manufactured or documents from the USA are prohibited
Customs Clearance Requirements
High value shipments may require the consignee to obtain an Import License from Taiwanese Customs.
The Consignee must give written approval to Taiwanese Customs or their agent to allow customs clearance to take place (also known as Power of Attorney)
For multiple parcel shipments a packing list should be provided for each parcel detailing the contents, weights and values of each item in the box.

Customs Clearance Requirements
The Consignee may have to give written approval to USA Customs or their agent to allow customs clearance to take place (also known as Power of Attorney). If the receiver to does not agree to clear the goods or takes too long they could be moved into the Government Warehouse, additional charges will apply.
